As a photographer, and many can agree, whether nude of clothed, we are looking for an artistic look, angle, appeal, or expression in each photo.... Granted, sometimes we do what the client wishes of us that looks less like art and more like an image emphasizing the sexual appeal of the subject, but even still, why do people on here comment ignorantly like a teenager that just hit puberty, not thinking before speaking?
I've seen beautiful photos on here with stunning models both nude and clothed, and while looking through some comments found the most childish of words. One photo for example..... :thumb322369284: This one features a beyond gorgeous black model standing fully nude, but with a look of contemplation, perhaps sorrow or self reflecting. Either way, there are comments on this one regarding the photo itself and the model's physical beauty. Granted, just judging her appearance, I'd have to say one of the most beautiful black woman I have seen, but one member';s comment disturbs be.... "Damn! She black as shit!" which is not only racist but has no bearing on the artistic work at all. Yes she is black.... no need to state the obvious and even if the obvious needed stating, why in such a crude manner? Grow up!
No. 2 example.... :thumb150081094: This one depicts a young topless model probably 18 - 23 years of age outdoors... It has an appeal and the model is obviously in possession of natural beauty but the comment here that made me roll my eyes was "tell it was cold" ..... really? Is the only thing here that you saw was erect nipples and decided to state the obvious? I couldn't tell.... Thank you for being a childish fool. Did you also notice how her eyes, hair, and the branches compliments each other with her fair skin and white background contrasting the entire portrait? Probably not..... there are porn sites and nude galleries that would probably love to hear your daft comments ..... Get off DA!
I can understand some joking, banter, or teasing between DA members who have become friends, but random comments like "BOOBIES!", "Damn them some titties," or "nice pussy lips" don't belong here on an art site...... respect the models foremost, respect the photographer for his work, and respect the fact that it is art, whether pro quality or developing amateur.

Closing Business but still practicing
Life throws you different curve balls and sometimes unwanted changes lead to a want for more changes that you never wanted. This is my conundrum. I am changing and photography as a business is one of those changes. After all the weddings, product shoots, family shoots, model shoots and so on.... it is now time to say "Hey! No more art as work." I will play with art but no longer use it as a job... I want to enjoy and love art rather than dread it one day.
Enjoy....

Now I too am an advocate against porn on art sites, but porn is defined as a video or photo with its soul purpose to arouse sexual desire. Art in the form of artistic nude, lingerie, glamour, etc, is intended as photography in which we are meant to focus on either the beauty of the subject, the materials used such as the clothing, or the creativity of all those involved in the production of such said works of art.
Next, Deviant Art is a site devoted to artin which I have just previously described and has policies against pornography in order to keep it clean and for the most part, I think they do a great job. I do believe that up close and
