I am now officially a school for rape deterrent. The only photographers that will refuse a model from having an escort are rapists, those that want to try getting laid by model or perverts wishing to pressure you to do something you don't want to.... A model had replied to Dan Stainberg of AVD in Gatineau / Ottawa saying she always brings an escort. His reply was

Unfortunately, I found out that many other models have had this guy refuse them the right to having an escort.... Bravo pervert...
Experienced Models, who know the scams or risks, and private clients for family portraits or weddings are not much to worry about as far as warning for future shoots, but women who want something sexy done for their spouse and beginning models should always be advised to bring an escort (one who will not distract, will not cause discomfort, can bare witness and knock the fuck out the photographer if she/he crosses the line). If photographers refuse you to allow an escort, do not work with them. If you decline an escort invite, please be aware who you are getting to shoot you. Ask about them and research. A photo shoot should be a fun experience that yields great quality work and not a night in the hospital swabbing for evidence. Be safe. Always ask. Always inform yourself. Girls, you possess things that many men are willing to risk a lot to get..... Be careful.
To this photographer and any other that wants to try and bash my morals, honor and ethics of teaching model's about safety.... Give my name freely as that stupid asshole that helps prevent rape....

Closing Business but still practicing
Life throws you different curve balls and sometimes unwanted changes lead to a want for more changes that you never wanted. This is my conundrum. I am changing and photography as a business is one of those changes. After all the weddings, product shoots, family shoots, model shoots and so on.... it is now time to say "Hey! No more art as work." I will play with art but no longer use it as a job... I want to enjoy and love art rather than dread it one day.

Now I too am an advocate against porn on art sites, but porn is defined as a video or photo with its soul purpose to arouse sexual desire. Art in the form of artistic nude, lingerie, glamour, etc, is intended as photography in which we are meant to focus on either the beauty of the subject, the materials used such as the clothing, or the creativity of all those involved in the production of such said works of art.

Holy shit. Okay, this might sound silly but I met this guy on OkCupid. Met him for lunch and he got pretty damn grabby and touchy. I really didn't like it. I admitted to him that I had a friend I was occasionally intimate with and he completely lost his shit. I mean it's not something that happened often, at the time I hadn't seen that friend in several weeks.
Ironically, he told me he had sex with a woman just the week before after only the first date. I decided not to judge, knowing it's not something I would do, but my gosh...he's one to talk. Needless to say, I never saw him after that one date.
(Yeah, he's much older than me, but meh...at least I got lunch out of it and, luckily, nothing else.)
